No matter how small a job a start up meeting should be held to discuss the task at hand and any safety implications. Check to see if you have the right tools to complete your work and make sure everyone has the proper safety gear.
A Hazard Assesment Meeting should be held for every new employee to the job site. All employees need to be told of any hazards that are site specific.
Once a week you should have a Tool Box meeting. There you can talk about safety issues and any accidents that have happened on the site and what
could have been done to prevent them. Pick a safety topic and discuss it. A copy should be given to the General Contractor and a copy should be kept at the Job Site.
Risk Assesment Meetings should be held every morning before going out and performing your task. The hazards of your tasks that will occur during the work day should be talked about.
